12 JulPosted in Apple News on 12.07.11

Apple has begun soliciting Mac app store developers to submit entries for OS X lion. In an e-Mail sent to developers tonight Apple OS says X lion will "soon millions of Mac users around the world will be available." They demand their OS developers to submit X Lion compatible applications, so that she "this month" ships on the Mac app store as a lion.

The request for OS X Lion specific applications, seems a bit late for the rumor release of this week. In the last Jahr Apple began accept iOS 4 apps in the app store 11 days before the iOS 4 release. While app store approvals are usually about a week, Apple is prioritize submissions new version, so the time frame for OS X Lion app approvals could much shorter to be known.

OS X lion is known to be on track for release sometime in July. Lion, itself, will be a single app store version.
