WWDC Kicks Off Monday: Mac OS X Lion, iOS 5 and iCloud

2011 Worldwide Developer Conference, Apple kicks off tomorrow with a keynote by Steve Jobs, starting at 10 am Pacific. Apple has already indicated that they will be talking about Mac OS X Lion, iOS your iCloud and 5 at the event. Developer registration began today (photo above and below).


Early speculation about iCloud had mainly focused on the upcoming Apple deals with music companies and the ability to stream iTunes music to your Mac and iOS devices. But more recently, there has been talk of new iOS-powered time capsules, which could serve as a sort of hub file synchronization or update the caching system.


iOS seems a major update with rumors of renewed and widgets, notifications and twitter integration. A new automatic download functionality for applications also seems certain.


There have been some hints that Mac OS X Lion can be almost ready to launch with some even identifying the date of June 14, the date issued.



As always, there is usually a last-minute rumors and leaks in the night before the event, so stay tuned.
